About The Position
The Payroll Representative in Nursing Administration is responsible for the performance of payroll system processing transactions for assigned departments. This role involves recording, verifying, and reconciling time cards and other payroll data, coordinating activities with department managers, Human Resources, and the main Payroll Department, and responding to departmental inquiries. The position requires ensuring that payroll information is accurately entered into the appropriate systems, evaluating data entries for accuracy, completeness, and conformity with established policies and procedures. The representative will also review data such as schedule entries, calculations, benefits entitlement, and shift differentials, investigate departmental inquiries involving recalculation of overtime, benefits, on-call shift differentials, and/or reversal of payments, and process advance vacation request payments.
