We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations within the department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of payroll management and accounting practices. This position is essential in maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll processing, and supporting HR initiatives.

  • Assist in the administration of payroll processes using systems such as ADP or Ceridian.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and onboarding new hires.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to HR metrics and performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in payroll management systems such as ADP is preferred.
  • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish.
  • Multitask and Problem Solving.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Familiarized with State and Federal Labor Laws.
  • Basic Worker's Compensation knowledge.
