About The Position

The Payroll Processing Subject Matter Expert (SME) will serve as a hybrid practitioner with extensive knowledge in payroll, absence management, and Oracle systems. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective communication with the procurement team. The SME will leverage their technical skills to manage payroll activities and reporting, ensuring all documentation is submitted by deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10 years of experience with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• 10 years of experience in payroll processes including W2, 1099, 940, 941, and re-employment.
• 10 years of experience with the Oracle Absence Management module for validating and managing absence records.
• 10 years of experience working with procurement teams on the 1099 process.
• Strong technical proficiency in generating and validating payroll and tax reports from Oracle.
• 10 years of business analysis experience consulting with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy in payroll reporting and timely submission of W2 and 1099 forms to external agencies.
• Initiate, validate, and submit annual and quarterly payroll reports including 940 and 941 forms.
• Handle re-employment data uploads and ensure dual authentication for journal entries.
• Collaborate continuously with procurement, HR, finance, and other departments to manage payroll processes effectively.
