About The Position

The Payroll Manager at Outsourcing Buddy plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy and compliance in our payroll processes. As the key person responsible for managing the entire payroll function, this role requires a dedicated individual with strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience with a demonstrated track record in managing end to end payroll processes.
  • In-depth understanding of payroll principles, labor legislation, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all payroll operations and ensure they comply with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner. This includes collecting and verifying data, calculating wages, and issuing statements and payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including timesheets, paid leaves, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
  • Handle payroll queries and complaints to maintain transparent and trusted relations with the workforce.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the systems needed for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration with payroll.
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
  • Create and deliver timely reports on payroll matters to the team and executive leadership.
