About The Position

Today's way of working is drastically changing due to the transition in the working environment, new competitors on the horizon, and advances in technology. The OneLM Transformation (1LMX) program, the largest internal program ever undertaken by the company, will re-engineer our business processes with a focus on commonality, interoperability, and a better stakeholder experience. As the Payroll Integrations Manager, you will lead all payroll‑related data flows across HCM. Working with HR, Finance, IT, and other partners, you'll design, govern and continuously improve how payroll information is moved, validated and reported, modernize legacy data and streamline workflows, and ensure every business requirement is met and delivered. Embark on an exciting journey with Lockheed Martin's Human Capital Management Project team, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our integrations workstream through modernizing systems to optimize the employee experience throughout the Hire to Retire life cycle. As a member of our People Financial Services organization within Global Financial Services, you'll report through your leader to Director of Global People Services, supporting the implementation of the innovative enterprise Human Capital Management system, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central & Employee Central Payroll. As a key player on our People Services Organization, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute your expertise, drive innovation, and enhance the employee experience for Lockheed Martin's global workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ≥ 5 years of experience managing payroll processes, preferably with exposure to cross‑system data flows.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and employees.
  • Proven ability to gather functional requirements, create clear specifications, and translate them into actionable work plans.
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary initiatives, managing timelines, and delivering results on schedule
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable influencing senior leaders and external partners without direct authority.
  • Ability to interpret reconciliation reports, spot trends, and implement corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with payroll‑related compliance (tax, labor, data‑privacy) and the ability to embed those requirements into processes.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks and driving adoption of new processes across the organization.
  • US Citizenship is required due to system access

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data‑privacy and security standards in HR systems.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology
  • Technical knowledge and experience with SAP inbound and outbound integrations
  • Background in project management, organizational transformation, or large‑scale technology roll‑outs.

Responsibilities

  • Documenting the functional roadmap for payroll data exchanges (time‑and‑attendance, benefits, tax, third‑party providers).
  • Establishing and enforcing change‑control processes for any new or altered data feeds.
  • Maintaining a single source of truth for integration policies, standards, and documentation.
  • Lead integrations discussions with business owners to capture current and future payroll data needs; translate those needs into clear functional specifications and validation criteria.
  • Prioritize integration work based on business impact, risk, and regulatory deadlines.'
  • Oversee the creation and use of a validation framework that checks payroll calculations against financial results.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead the team through significant Enterprise level transformations, such as 1LMX, and foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and development.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all payroll integration incidents, coordinating resolution across vendors, HR, and Finance.
  • Partnering with Metrics Lead to establish and monitor key performance indicators (accuracy rate, processing time, exception volume, etc.).
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline payroll data flows, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality.
  • Providing regular status updates, risk dashboards, and executive briefings that focus on business outcomes rather than technical detail.
