About The Position

We are excited to bring on a Payroll Implementation Specialist to join our Retirement Plan Services team in a work from home environment. Background DetailsThe Retirement Plan Services team will help you establish and grow your career in Workplace Solutions providing you with coaching and development to perform in this fast-paced environment. As a Payroll Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for consulting, analyzing and delivering on projects representing the payroll organization to help guide new customers on the setup and understanding of their contribution and payroll files. You will act as a resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders. This position will perform and support the onboarding of payroll implementations of new clients/customers and provide guidance to all parties. You will liaise with internal teams, payroll providers, and plan sponsors to develop and test system requirements to meet the needs of customer plan documents. Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • 1–3+ Years of experience in relationship management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organization/project management skills
  • Ability to work with others in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • You will review clients’ plan documents and data to determine tasks needed for the payroll implementation.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders on payroll implementation solutions and functional requirement documents to be used by IT which optimize client satisfaction and achieve the desired business results.
  • You will collaborate with the team to determine complex service setup requirements.
  • You will administer data collection sessions with customers to compile all payroll implementation requirements, details and intricacies.
  • You will perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that all requirements have been captured, and all expected outcomes are returned.
  • You will identify and resolve internal/external stakeholder issues/concerns in a timely and collaborative manner.
  • You will provide information, education and training to external clients and internal teams on processes, procedures and/or services.
  • You will contribute to the planning and design of onboarding of new retirement plans, the development of deliverables, due dates, and milestones.
  • You will collaborate with external customers and internal teams to develop strong payroll implementation and conversion plans through proactive and reactive customer interactions, ensuring the overall service needs are satisfied.
  • You will serve as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on routine projects related to new business implementation and conversions.
  • You will identify and communicate to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality.
  • You will promote and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within your assigned area of responsibility.
  • You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
