What We Are Looking For: A driven and mission focused Payroll & Expense Specialist to own the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, manage employee expense reimbursements, and reconcile corporate credit card transactions. You will ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, support audit processes, and provide excellent customer service to employees regarding compensation and expense matters.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of ADP payroll experience
  • Experience using accounting software in daily operations; Concur Expense and Sage Intacct preferred
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel with basic proficiency in Windows, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Sound knowledge of corporate purchase card programs and account reconciliation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration: Process payroll, maintain payroll records, and record payroll journal entries. Respond to employee questions related to pay and prepare/distribute payroll-related tax documents
  • Employee Reimbursements: Review and process employee reimbursement requests, verify submission documentation, ensure timely reimbursements, and assist with enforcing expense policies
  • Corporate Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly statements, ensure proper coding, employee follow-up as needed, assist with month-end close
  • General Support and Compliance: Maintain payroll/financial information confidentiality, collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure cohesive data flow and record accuracy, assist with fiscal year-end payroll-related items
