About The Position
As the Director of Payroll at GEODIS, you will manage the US payroll operations process, including all associated systems (e.g., UKG, WFM, etc.), pre-calculation activities, payroll calculation and confirmation, as well as coordination of all post payroll processing activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and cost-effective payroll service delivery. You will also manage the reconciliation of payroll and support periodic audits to ensure that payroll data and tax calculations are accurate, including wage reconciliations, tax reconciliations, and filings in accordance with applicable US legislation. Your role will involve designing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing, developing standards and guidelines for payroll operations, and ensuring compliance with payroll-related statutes and regulations. Additionally, you will oversee the payroll accounting process, manage garnishments, and maintain payroll processing calendars and schedules.
