About The Position

Payroll Coordinator Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Payroll Coordinator. The Payroll Coordinator assists the General Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll functions. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant payroll experience, including ADP experience, required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
  • Computer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with calculating employees’ hours from timecards and timekeeping systems; ensures that all employees are paid on time and accurately
  • Prepares ADP enterprise entries; prepares and issues paychecks
  • Updates financial records including manifest, billing, payroll, invoices, and reconciliations
  • Troubleshoots payroll issues; verify the accuracy of figures and computations
  • Responds to employee questions regarding all types of payroll questions
  • Maintains data including file back-ups and documentation files
  • Balances and reconciles payroll accounts; prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions; may keep records of leave pay and nontaxable wages
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information
  • Other duties as assigned
