About The Position

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is seeking for a Payroll Coordinator who enjoys working with numbers, deadlines, and serves a s key point of contact for payroll-related questions from our team members. Payroll Coordinator requires strong technical payroll knowledge and high level of accuracy. You also compile payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties listed below.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of payroll or accounting experience required. Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, UKG).

Responsibilities

  • Logs and investigates all Payroll Inquiries and reports results to team member or supervisor.
  • Utilizes the monthly accrued vacation report when processing vacation requests or terminations.
  • Maintains the proper sick pay accrual for all team members.
  • Processes termination checks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes TBC-12’s received from Human Resources for possible adjustment on the current pay period due to retroactive pay increases.
  • Inputs uniform deductions and limits into the payroll master from documentation received from the Uniform Department. Uniform refunds will be researched and promptly refunded.
  • Calculates wage detachments (garnishment) from disposable earnings.
  • Inputs direct deposit deductions into the team member’s master file from the Deduction Request form.
  • On a biweekly basis performs the following duties: adjustments from 14-day summary, designated tips, bonuses, manual checks, inquiries, vacation requests, sick pay, declared tips, garnishments, all other payroll related documents, ensures the daily, first week, 14 day and final reports prints accurately.
  • Separates reports, organizes by department, and delivers to the appropriate department.
  • Ensures that all adjustment forms are properly completed and have appropriate signatures.
  • Calculates and logs all sick pay taken during the pay period.
  • Files adjustments.
  • Ensure that all confidential data is maintained securely and handled in a discreet fashion.
  • Must be available to work all shifts as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
