Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Central Texas town of Temple, Texas. Responsibilities

  • Handles accounts payable and processes payroll on a biweekly basis.
  • Runs related reports at month end to include both payroll and accounts payable.
  • Keeps personnel files updated in the computer and handles day to day accounting.
  • Receives, checks for accuracy, and codes each invoice to correct General Ledger Account and inputs in computer.
  • Follows corporate internal control policies.
  • Matches invoices with receiving documents, verifying the accuracy of quantities, descriptions, prices and extensions, terms, freight and taxes at a minimum of 95% accuracy.
  • Codes invoices with vendor and account numbers with greater than 95% accuracy.
  • Selects invoices for payments and runs checks on a weekly basis.
  • Submits monthly reports to CFO and supplies backup information when requested.
  • Collects, analyzes and computes each employee's time into the computer accurately.
  • Processes payroll checks and all related payroll reports bi-weekly.
  • Distributes FTE reports weekly.
  • Maintains employee status, such as tracking employees' PTO/ELB for Leave Requests.
  • Maintains adequate supply levels to prevent stock-outs and provides smooth flow of forms to users.
  • Maintains La Amistad Service Excellence Standards always.
