The Payroll Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws, typically on federal construction projects, when processing payroll. This role involves accurately calculating and paying wages and benefits according to prevailing wage rates and submitting required reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing certified payroll records, ensuring subcontractor compliance, and overseeing labor compliance processes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
