About The Position

The Payroll Compliance Administrator will compile and record employee time and payroll data. This includes assisting with the preparation, documentation and disbursement of the organization's Certified Payroll, statement of compliance and fringe benefits. The Payroll Compliance Administrator will also assist with reviewing incoming union employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and make good judgement calls on priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Reliability and the ability to handle many projects simultaneously are key.
  • Word, Excel & Outlook working knowledge are required.
  • Associate's degree in business or related field.
  • 3 years Certified Payroll experience minimum.
  • 3+ years hands on experience in payroll processing and associated activities.
  • Experience with online payroll reporting (LCP Tracker, Elations).

Nice To Haves

  • Construction Industry experience is a plus.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Upload, download, and organize certified payroll and labor compliance documents using LCP Tracker, Elations, and other software.
  • Ensure all certified payroll is complete and processed weekly.
  • Assist with DIR Uploads per project requirements.
  • Assist with the timely submission of DAS 140/142 Apprentice documents.
  • Assist with monthly document submissions to the project owners.
  • Communicates with all Subcontractors regarding certified payroll/labor compliance documents are included and corrected, if needed.
  • Communicate with employees and/or managers on multiple communication platforms
  • Answers/screens all incoming payroll calls for resolve or transfers to proper channels
  • Prepare periodic status reports needed to release payments to subcontractors.
  • Submit and complete all labor compliance documents and requirements for projects.
  • Effectively communicate with internal team members and client liaison.
  • Prepare periodic status reports needed to release payments to subcontractors.
  • Manage the scrub dashboard of incoming timesheets for accuracy and completeness
  • Back up to other positions when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
