About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join their team. This role is responsible for carrying out community payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable state and federal laws, and under the supervision of the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant. The position also involves general payroll duties including compensation, employment status, and employee benefits. Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is a family-owned company founded in 1985, guided by the YOUNITE philosophy of genuine respect and understanding the unique needs of residents and team members.

Requirements

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Minimum of two years of prior payroll experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
• Must possess strong personal organization and time management with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll application systems
• Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
