Dohrn is seeking a Full Time Payroll Clerk at our Corporate office in Rock Island, IL! Pay is $19.00/Hour, Monday - Friday with a flexible start time Benefits: Health/Vision/Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more. POSITION SUMMARY: To assist in Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Fuel Tax reporting.
Requirements
- High School completion or equivalent
- Valid Driver License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette
- Analytical, Detail-oriented, Organized
- Typing and ten-key skills are required
- Ability to multi-task and react to change productively
- Ability to read and distinguish numerical values such as pounds, pieces, and dollar amounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Excellent attendance
Nice To Haves
- Bookkeeping background preferred
- Transportation Industry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor and update employee hours in UKG timekeeping system
- Assist in Accounts Payable department
- Assist in Linehaul payroll preparations
- Monitor Hours of Service regulations
- Assist in Fuel Tax Reporting
- Prepare spreadsheets as needed
- Apply Cash Receipts
- Data entry
- Perform other duties as needed
