About The Position

Payroll Clerk (Entry-Level) – Remote (TX or GA)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $18-20 per hour DOE

Northwest Cascade, is hiring a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support our Payroll Team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and processes—and wants to grow in payroll, employee development and benefits administration.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, data organization)
• Team player willing to handle administrative tasks
• Curious mindset—asks questions and wants to understand the “why”
• Organized, reliable, and process-driven

Nice To Haves

• Payroll and/or Paylocity experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure new hire onboarding is completed accurately in Paylocity
• Maintain and audit employee payroll data
• Assist with payroll billings and reporting
• Respond to Verifications of Employment (VOEs)
• Support benefits administration tasks
• Run and distribute recurring payroll reports
• Provide administrative support to the Payroll Team
• Enter and review employee changes in Paylocity
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries
• Other tasks and duties as assigned
