Cache Valley Electric Co. (CVE), a premier national specialty contractor, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team at our Logan, UT headquarters. This full-time role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our workforce of over 3,000 employees.

Process weekly payroll, including benefits and deductions, with precision and efficiency
Ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify, I-9 documentation)
Maintain and update employee payroll records (e.g., address/phone changes, W-4 updates, timecard reviews)
Stay current on federal and state wage and hour regulations
Utilize Viewpoint software and knowledge of collective bargaining agreements (preferred)

2-5 years of payroll experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software systems
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
