Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Payroll Business Analyst. In this role, the successful candidate we need a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to oversee the efficiency and compliance of internal payments made to unions and voluntary deduction vendors. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, performing monthly reconciliations, and analyzing data to identify and resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of payment processes, enabling them to maintain balanced and compliant transactions each month. This role supports comprehensive payroll functions, including union processing, wage garnishment administration, and voluntary employee deductions. The position ensures the accurate setup, maintenance, and reconciliation of union-related deductions and benefits in full compliance with applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs). The individual will collaborate with Payroll, Remittance, and internal departments to facilitate accurate payments and address issues as they arise. In addition, the scope of this role can include the processing and reconciliation of all payroll-related wage garnishment activities in strict accordance with federal and state regulations, including child support orders, tax levies, and other legal obligations. This role ensures timely and accurate data handling through diligent auditing, secure documentation management, and proactive follow-up.
