About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to support the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll by collecting, verifying, and entering payroll data. This role assists in maintaining payroll records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations. The Payroll Assistant collaborates closely with HR and Finance teams to manage timesheets, benefits deductions, and wage adjustments, while providing prompt and effective support to employee payroll inquiries.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of work experience. Payroll experience is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
  • Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Accurate data entry required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the processing, monitoring, and reviewing of the biweekly payroll.
  • Assist with garnishments.
  • Assist with case management.
  • Update and maintain accurate excel spreadsheet for payroll and garnishment.
  • Assist with monitoring Zendesk ticketing system.
