Kelly Services is seeking a Payroll Analyst to work at a premier company in Chicago. This position is crucial for managing payroll processes and ensuring accurate disbursements for a large workforce. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for generating and reviewing payroll reports, initiating payroll processes, and running payroll cycles. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll calculations, including time cards, and proficiency in using the Oracle EBS system to edit errors throughout the payroll processes. The analyst will also work closely with banking to process bi-weekly payroll and will serve as a timekeeper for all hospital staff reporting hours into the department. In addition to the core payroll functions, the Payroll Analyst will support manual adjustments, manage deductions, and assist in the overpayment collections area. The office supports payroll for over 22,000 employees, and the team is currently focused on determining overpayments and adjusting paychecks accordingly. This role will involve significant troubleshooting and will require the analyst to back up the management of the payroll system. The analyst will also support the EBS payroll system using the Oracle payroll application and work with the CCT Workforce system to identify and explain timecard errors, as well as troubleshoot issues via the web portal. Candidates must possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas, V-lookups, and pivot tables to complete direct deposits and handle payroll taxes. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, along with familiarity with Oracle or other large payroll software such as ADP. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of payroll analysis experience and a solid background in processing payroll disbursements.
