About The Position

Assist the payroll team with day-to-day global payroll operations. Ensure accurate payroll payments to employees across multiple jurisdictions. Calculate and process employee payrolls in accordance with company policies and tax regulations. Perform essential reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy. Generate reports and maintain payroll records. Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies with clarity and transparency. Assist with timely responses to inquiries as needed. Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies, including incorrect payments, missed deductions, or employee inquiries about their pay. Provide collaborative assistance to payroll stakeholders regarding payroll-related matters. Carry out other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills to address payroll issues efficiently.
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in decision-making processes and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with employees and management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, including extended hours if necessary.
  • Maintains confidentiality with a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Ability to identify deficiencies in processes, suggest improvements for efficiency, and implement enhancements.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification from the American Payroll Association, such as the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC), is advantageous.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
