Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three years' experience in payroll processing.
• Must be proficient in MS Office programs, especially Excel.
• Must be organized and reliable and able to meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
• Must be able to comprehend Company HRIS system and other system programs.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all aspects of payroll and commissions for an assigned group of locations.
• Maintain payroll system data and integrity for employee changes, new hires and terminations.
• Run and research payroll related inquiries.
• Monitor time clock system and/or compute time cards as needed.
• Prepare workers compensation forms.
• File or scan paperwork.
• Fill in for absent co-workers from the payroll department.
