About The Position

The Payroll Administrator IV assists in the preparation of payroll reconciliations and ensures that payroll is accurately updated. They are responsible for responding to payroll inquiries and performing payroll processing calculations as required.

Requirements

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience of Payroll experience.
• OR (12) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
• OR (6) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
• OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business.
• Intermediate Excel Experience Required.
• Strong typing skills is a must.
• Familiarity with State and Federal Labor Laws & Overtime Calculations.
• Processing manual checks, quarterly adjustments and amendments in WFN.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, prepare payroll journal entries, and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts, including payroll accruals
• Prepare monthly payroll accruals and payroll-related reconciliations
• Respond to all payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner
• Update payroll spreadsheets weekly and balance with the payroll register
• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and documents
• Process and submit payroll reports in a timely manner
• Maintain payroll records and file tax reports
• Resolve issues affecting payroll
