Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with tax filings (sales tax, VAT, corporate income tax) and provide audit support.
  • Oversee global traveler and expatriate programs, ensuring tax and labor law compliance.
  • Coordinate expatriate tax consultations, reporting, and payments with Ernst & Young.
  • Identify inefficiencies in accounting and mobility processes, recommending automation and enhancements.
  • Work with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to align policies and streamline global compliance.
  • Review and process mobility-related expenses in Expensify and Amex.
  • Monitor global compliance changes and ensure timely adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, with expertise in payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance.
  • 1+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or mobility; preferred 2+ years processing domestic and international payrolls.
  • Proficient in Workday, Microsoft 365, ERP systems, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Strong analytical skills, data reporting, and ability to integrate metrics into HR and payroll functions.
  • Experience in high-tech, SaaS, startups, or complex growth environments, with knowledge of global payroll and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and confidentiality skills, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills using tools like SharePoint, Slack, and Quip.
