Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience processing timesheets, labor, leave and payroll in Deltek Costpoint.
  • Government Contractor Accounting experience (Required).
  • Knowledge of GAAP, FAR and CAS compliance standards and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel at intermediate or higher level.
  • Understanding and willingness to work extra hours as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Process timesheets, labor, leave and payroll using Deltek Costpoint.
  • Serve as liaison with HR and employees on all payroll related issues.
  • Research federal and state payroll issues and ensure company compliance with tax regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and reconcile General Ledger related accounts.
  • Provide support for annual financial audit and DCAA ICE Sch L reconciliation.
  • Create annual labor and payroll related schedules.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure timely and accurate recording of labor.
  • Develop, review and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide backup support for other payroll related needs.
