Requirements

  • 6+ years Payroll, Human Resource or related experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Payroll Systems Intermediate.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger Systems Intermediate.
  • Multi-tasking ability (Prioritize, organize, schedule work).
  • Intermediate Problem Solving skills (Identify, analyze, research, evaluate).
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification or Certified Payroll Professional Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Overall leadership of timekeeping/pay and payroll processes.
  • Processes and confirms payrolls.
  • Lead for identification and prioritization of process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation.
  • Plan for known outages, staffing, and schedule (e.g., holiday) changes.
  • Lead seamless Timekeeping and Payroll Process.
  • Ensures accurate costing to appropriate project and phase by entering revised timesheets in a timely manner.
  • Generates and provides various payroll reports, payroll queries and payroll registers to ensure accuracy of payroll run.
  • Processes off-cycle checks for terminated employees and for payroll adjustments.
  • Develops spreadsheets to assist in the reconciliation of quarterly and annual tax reporting.
  • Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.
  • Protects and maintains the privacy of confidential personnel records and pay information.
