About The Position

Applies principles of accounting to both analyze pay, fringe benefits and other financial information to ensure accurate pay to employees and assist with the completion and reporting of payroll information, including but not limited to payroll tax returns, to applicable regulatory agencies under the supervision of departmental leadership. Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of one year accounting experience (preferably in health care or public accounting setting).
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a fast paced environment requiring the ability to set priorities, coordinate and organize multiple tasks and maintain control of work flow
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites products
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Problem-solving for payroll discrepancies
  • Confidentiality
  • Evolved focus on analytics and compliance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Experience in Quickbooks, Lawson, and Crystal reporting beneficial.
