About The Position

Verse Medical is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) solution for healthcare providers and insurance companies (payors). As our Payor Relations Specialist, you’ll own processes for Verse’s Medicaid enrollments, commercial payor credentialing, and day-to-day operations and relationship management with contracted payor partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a relevant role (e.g. credentialing, contracting, or payor relations at a healthcare provider; or in provider relations at a payor); ancillary provider experience a big plus
  • Zero defect mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication.
  • Consultative and adaptable, willing to take feedback and iterate accordingly.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing long-term projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the credentialing process when Verse contracts with payors - complete and submit all relevant company information, prepare contracts for signature, etc.
  • Collaborate with payors and Verse’s internal revenue cycle management team to confirm all required manuals, fee schedules, and other materials have been transmitted upon contract completion
  • Attend payor orientation meetings and schedule regular check-ins with contracted commercial payors
  • Own Verse’s payor relations email inbox and triage relevant messages/actions with other members of the payor relations and revenue cycle management team
  • Monitor enrollment statuses and renew Verse’s Medicaid enrollments across all 51 state Medicaid programs
  • Enroll Verse in new state-sponsored programs that expand our patient population
  • Monitor relevant policy changes at a state and national level
  • Represent Verse to payors in emails, phone calls, and video calls
  • Assist with commercial payor business development efforts
