Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in sales, with a demonstrable record of achieving or surpassing sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, present compelling sales pitches, and negotiate effectively.
  • Natural ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, with a focus on maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in response to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client challenges and offer tailored solutions.
  • Collaborative spirit, willing to support team members and contribute to a cohesive and successful sales team.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of the Durable Medical Equipment Industry and its related products/services is preferred, but exceptional candidates from diverse backgrounds will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Implement strategic sales plans developed by senior management to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and contribute to action plans to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs, address concerns, and provide effective solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to forecast future sales trends and opportunities.
  • Provide regular and accurate sales reports to the senior sales manager, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Attend regular sales training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development to improve overall sales effectiveness.
  • Follow and refine the established sales process to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices and sales methodologies to streamline operations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Use market insights to identify competitive advantages and position the company's products/services effectively.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations, pitches, and sales collateral.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition and unique selling points of the company's offerings.
  • Assist in negotiations with clients and close sales deals.
  • Ensure contract compliance and support the negotiation process to secure favorable agreements for the company.
  • Participate in performance metrics and evaluation systems to assess individual sales performance.
  • Receive constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of prospects and opportunities.
  • Prioritize leads and opportunities for optimal conversion rates.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and potential product enhancements.
  • Stay updated on market trends and customers’ needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and foster a customer-centric approach.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Uphold the company's reputation and integrity in all interactions with customers and partners.
