The Payments Project Manager III (PPM) is responsible for managing the relationships with the Bank’s prospective fintech partners; managing the integration of new fintech partners and products within the Bank’s lending and payments divisions. As the primary contact for these partners, the PPM manages interactions during the integration phases to ensure seamless execution of projects. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as the primary contact for assigned prospective fintech partners; manages due diligence, onboarding, and implementation functions; coordinates between external and internal teams while bringing new programs through to live launch. Leads due diligence, onboarding, and implementation functions for new fintech partners and/or new products for existing partners across lending and payments divisions; manages all technical details of the integration and launch. Manages the complete lifecycle of partner and/or product implementation projects, from initial planning and proposal development to final delivery and signoff, ensuring that all milestones are met. Develops and maintains project plans and templates to standardize processes and increase project effectiveness for each lending and payments product implementation. Collaborates with internal teams, including Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and prompt issue resolution. Facilitates regular calls and meetings with internal teams and fintech partners to track progress, address challenges, and identify opportunities for optimization. Documents and maintains detailed records of program concepts, product information, and company-related data to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is readily available for internal teams, partners, auditors and/or examiners. Provides regular updates on existing and new projects to Bank leadership and to partners. Collaborates with sales teams and Bank leaders for early discovery meetings with new fintech prospects. Partners with the Risk and Compliance teams to complete risk assessments for new products and fintech integrations. Keeps current with payments industry trends, fintech innovations, and relevant regulatory updates, including processor capabilities, network rules, new products, and relevant industry news, to provide expert advice to internal bank teams and management when needed. Responsible for traveling for onsite meetings with partners, as applicable. Performs other duties as assigned.
