About The Position
The Payment Staff Accountant at Insurity will be responsible for handling all aspects of payment processing, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments. This role involves posting payments, refunds, voids, return payments, service fees, and reissue items, as well as importing payments, NSF, accounts receivables, and vendor reports. The accountant will produce and distribute payment and commission reports, respond to emails and accounting team tickets, and assist with reconciling activity and accounts. The position also requires supporting improvements in accounting processes through simplification and automation, partnering with external partners and functional teams, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
