Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary business coursework preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in collections or a financial industry call center.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of consumer collections, compliance, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support members by managing delinquent accounts with empathy and professionalism.
• Uncover the causes of delinquency and help members get back on track.
• Educate members about financial options and refer them to helpful programs and services.
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in all collection processes.
• Work independently while projecting a positive image as a representative of Summit Credit Union.
