About The Position

The Payment Processor enhances the revenue cycle by producing accurate, timely, complete, payment posting functions which support medical financial reimbursement.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year customer service and/or collection experience required.

Responsibilities

• Posts and reconciles all insurance EOB’s with an understanding of contractual adjustments and patient responsibility.
• Balances with all postings at the end of the day, month, quarter and year with accounting personnel.
• Resolves any and all posting error in a timely manner.
• Pays attention to detail during the posting process to ensure minimal errors.
• Works as a team with other payment processor staff to ensure each day is posted prior to starting the next day’s postings.
