The Payment Processing Representative at Exeter Finance LLC is responsible for the daily decision-making and processing of customer and third-party checks. This role ensures that all payments are managed accurately and timely, while collaborating with various departments to uphold company policies and procedures.   • Execute payment processing tasks according to policy and procedures.
  • Manage daily workload and assignments within service level objectives.
  • Assist peers with assignment completion as needed.
  • Maintain high accuracy and completeness in tasks performed.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify process improvements and communicate solutions with leadership.
  • Assist leadership in special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of work-related experience, preferably in consumer auto finance industry.
  • Experience with account maintenance functions strongly preferred.
  • 2 years of administrative accounting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with indirect loan documentation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of automobile finance, collections, and loan services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; database skills preferred.
  • Proficiency in SHAW Collections and SHAW Retail preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience in consumer auto finance industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with indirect loan documentation, i.e. contracts, ancillary products, certificates, etc. preferred.
  • Database skills preferred.
  • Competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $21.75 per hour.
