About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The Payment Posting Specialist is responsible for posting insurance and patient payments received for the hospital and Clinics. The Payment Posting Specialist reports directly to the Director of Patient Financial Services. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Graduate required, some college preferred. Work Experience: Experience in Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial insurance required Experience in uploading files. Computer experience required Customer service experience required Strong computer skills required Three years of insurance experience needed

Responsibilities

• Post payment and adjustments to the patient account.
• Mail distribution; scan documents; bank deposits
• Post refunds for the Hospital and Clinics; reports as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
