Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
Summary
At the direction of the Department Manager, the Payment Operations Specialist will be responsible for support and back up for one or more areas within Payment Operations Group which includes ACH, Wires, Item Processing, Statements, Remote Deposit Capture, Lockbox, Courier, BankCard and Exception Item Processing. In addition, the Payment Operations Specialist provides management support including RFPs, vendor review, cost analysis, project management and implementation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job
* May perform lead duties as assigned by the Department Manager
* Assist in the timely completion of special projects/tasks assigned to the Payment Operations Group
* Performs ad-hoc reporting for various applications
* Provide operational reporting, project governance, management or internal and external tasks, billing and assistance with operational/logistical functions
* Provide status and resolution reporting to management and provide operational support with on-going processes including budget analysis, vendor relationship management and business continuity
* Provide back up and support for any and all assigned areas with Payment Operations
* Must be flexible and willing to cover any department needed
* Assist in the creation, review and certification of department procedures
* Clear outstanding differences in the branch settlement accounts within three business days and outstanding differences in the correspondent and suspense accounts within 90 days.
* Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers
* Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability

Computer Skills

Salary Range:$21.5600 To 29.1100 Hourly
40 hours per week.
