About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Payment Networks Lead Business Execution Consultant to join our Payment Network Office (PNO), which manages our strategic relationships with Visa and Mastercard, and is part of the Enterprise Strategy and Merchant Services organization. This individual will support the advancement of the Payment Network Office team’s evolution to provide enterprise-wide oversight for payment networks. Additionally, this individual will be working collaboratively with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders to reduce enterprise and operational risk and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies as well as Payment Network rules and mandates. In this role, you will: Serve as a primary escalation point for Network compliance matters and manage the Wells Fargo relationship with the Payment Networks at the enterprise level. Foster and leverage Network relationships to influence rule and mandate changes, waiver requests and potential violation penalties in order to minimize impact to Wells Fargo and support our growth strategies. Provide specialized Subject Matter Expertise to business lines on Network compliance related matters. P artner with business owners including Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Digital, Legal, and Compliance teams in ensuring that the Networks address and support any identified Controls related business needs. Ensure that the Networks comply with Wells Fargo control processes and address requests in a timely and effective manner. Maintain collaborative relationships with multiple business lines and functional partners including Product, Controls, Risk Management, Legal and Enterprise Risk. Develop proactive strategies, tactics and programs to implement enterprise-wide oversight and effectively manage Network governance issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Strategic Planning, Business Execution, or Implementation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Expert knowledge of the Networks and Payments ecosystem, including an understanding of key players, emerging risks and the evolving regulatory/compliance landscape.
