Job Description The Physical Processing Specialist is responsible for handling and safeguarding physical assets under strict dual-control procedures. This role ensures accurate processing, validation, and delivery of physical securities and related documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of experience in transaction processing

  • Demonstrated clerical, key entry, and customer service/relation skills
  • Well-developed ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Mail and Asset Intake: Retrieve incoming mail from designated locations under dual control. Check in packages and identify contents using account numbers, CUSIP, asset names, and relationship manager details.
  • Asset Validation and Processing: Validate asset details against SPQR (Securities Processing Query & Request) system. Confirm accuracy of request details and ensure assets are sealed in tamper-resistant containers with proper inventory documentation.
  • Transaction Execution: Process deliveries and redemptions in Trust 3000 or SWP systems. Handle manual processing for free deliveries when automated systems cannot accommodate requests.
