About The Position

We are looking for an EDI Enrollment Specialist to ensure accurate and timely submission of enrollment information with payers and clearinghouses. This role plays a critical part in supporting claims processing, compliance, and provider or member onboarding by ensuring EDI enrollment data is complete, compliance, and provider or member onboarding by ensuring EDI enrollment data is complete, compliant and successfully transmitted. The EDI Enrollment Specialist serves as a key liaison between internal teams, clients, clearinghouses, and payers. This role will support provider enrollment, resolving enrollment-related issues, and ensuring electronic transactions such as claims, remittances, and reports flow without disruption. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Demonstrate professional motivation, steadiness and dedication and the ability to develop and maintain successful, long-term, relationships with key industry/client contacts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Demonstrate organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Past or similar experience in a Healthcare billing office with consistent communication with the payer
  • Hands‑on experience working with CGS, NGS, and Palmetto
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple enrollment tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in the Dallas office as this is not a remote role

Responsibilities

  • Perform DDE (Direct Data Entry) credentialing and assist clients with completing payer enrollments by providing clear instructions and walking them through the process step by step
  • Facilitate enrollment of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Trading Partner Agreement (TPA) forms required to submit claims and retrieve reports on behalf of clients
  • Coordinate and oversee provider enrollments with multiple payors, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Assist with researching and resolving missing 835 transactions (ERAs)
  • Coordinate and provide timely status updates on issues, enrollments, and projects to all involved internal and external teams
  • Proactively reach out to appropriate contacts and escalate issues when resolution is delayed or obstacles arise
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships and communication with external EDI and payer departments
