About The Position

As part of the broader Payer Operations function, you will join the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team as a collaborative contributor. In this role, you’ll help support the systems, processes, and insights that enable Fay to scale and deliver high-quality experiences for providers, patients, and partners. You’ll work across the company to solve ambiguous problems, improve operational performance, and drive business clarity. This is an individual contributor role for someone who thrives in 0→1 environments, enjoys structured problem-solving, and is energized by owning projects end-to-end. You combine analytical comfort with strong business judgment, operational instincts, and tight execution. You’re equally fluent in digging into data as you are in designing processes, communicating recommendations, and partnering with stakeholders. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management consulting or as a supervisor or higher, healthcare operations, or workflow/process improvement
  • Strong understanding of RCM technology, workflows, and operational performance metrics
  • Highly process-oriented, with the ability to identify workflow gaps and implement improvements
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to dive deep into operational nuances
  • Strong Excel (or equivalent data tooling) skills; highly data-savvy
  • Strong ability to interpret data to evaluate workflow effectiveness and operational health
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Action- and results-oriented, with a track record of driving initiatives forward
  • Independent, analytical, and creative problem solver

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with analysis and visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or SQL
  • Experience supporting internal operations teams in a high-growth healthcare or health-tech environment
  • Passion for improving healthcare through technology and scaling operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • Identify process improvement opportunities by developing a deep understanding of internal RCM workflows, best practices, and operational bottlenecks
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure strong workflow adherence and operational excellence
  • Oversee daily operational reporting, escalating trends or risks to leadership as needed
  • Use data to proactively identify operational gaps, investigate trends, and recommend scalable workflow solutions
  • Partner with RCM leadership to support performance management of internal service delivery functions
  • Serve as a liaison between RCM operations and cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success) to ensure alignment and continuous improvement
  • Own recurring operational reporting end-to-end — from data compilation and QA to synthesizing insights and recommending process improvements
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Product, and subject-matter experts to enhance the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our revenue cycle processes
  • Interact with and provide leadership for our third-party production vendor(s)
