About The Position

MB2 Dental, a first-of-its-kind Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) founded in 2007, is seeking a Payer Enrollment Specialist to join our team in Carrollton, TX! This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment while independently managing multiple tasks and responsibilities. The Credentialing Department is responsible for verifying the qualifications of dental providers and ensuring they are properly enrolled to participate in insurance networks and government programs. The department manages the entire credentialing lifecycle, working closely with insurance organizations and internal teams to maintain accurate provider data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that provider profiles remain up-to-date. Additionally, the department fosters strong relationships with dental practices, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders. A key focus is driving ongoing process improvements and efficiencies to promote seamless collaboration and increase productivity across teams. Job Summary: The Payer Enrollment Specialist is responsible for ensuring all dental providers and offices are accurately enrolled with insurance payers. This role manages new enrollments and reenrollment for commercial and Medicaid payers. The specialist works closely with dentists, office managers, and insurance representatives to submit required documentation, monitor application status, and resolve any enrollment-related issues. This role ensures that all providers and offices are properly linked to the appropriate Tax Identification Numbers and payer contracts, thereby maintaining uninterrupted claims payment and compliance with payer requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 – 5 years payer enrollment experience
  • Strong capability to collaborate and communicate
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with credentialing software, payer portals, and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: CPES is a plus
  • Experience in dental payer enrollment is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit enrollment and re-enrollment applications to commercial and government payers
  • Monitor payer portals and correspondence to track application status and follow up with payers on pending requests
  • Identifies issues that require additional investigation and evaluation, validates discrepancies and ensures appropriate escalation and/or follow-up
  • Maintain accurate provider records in the credentialing platform to serve as the single source of truth, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely claims processing.
  • Collaborate with the Credentialing Team and Liaison Team to gather necessary provider documentation for enrollment
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding application status, required next steps, and potential impacts on claims processing
  • Ensure compliance with all payer regulations, contract terms, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with the revenue cycle and claims teams to troubleshoot payment issues related to enrollment
