About The Position

Trims and removes, inspects product as it travels down the line. Defective material is disposed of according to policy and procedures. Assists with transporting trimmed parts and placing in appropriate tubs at the salvage station in reprocessing. Key Responsibilities Maintain continuous product flow on production lines to support efficiency and throughput Relieve Team Members on the production line for breaks, lunches, and absences Fill in for open positions during labor shortages to ensure uninterrupted operations Perform multiple production tasks as assigned, including but not limited to packing, sorting, staging, and material handling Assist with product movement between production areas to prevent downtime or congestion Monitor work areas to ensure product quality, food safety, and sanitation standards are met Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to fresh product handling Assist supervisors by responding quickly to changing production needs Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, or product concerns immediately Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, tools, and equipment Comply with all Tyson policies, OSHA regulations, USDA requirements, and food safety guidelines Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals Fresh Plant Environment Expectations Work directly with raw and fresh products in a temperature-controlled environment Strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements Compliance with food safety, quality, and contamination prevention practices Ability to adapt quickly to changing line assignments and production priorities

  • The team member is expected to maintain a safe work environment at all times and strictly adhere to Tyson policies, food safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and plant procedures
