About The Position

The Paving Crew Skilled Laborer is a critical part of our production team and will perform tasks involving physical labor in parking lots and beside active roadways by operating hand tools (pick, shovel, asphalt lute, backpack blower). Responsibilities Use of tools to clean and prepare surface for asphalt paving Manual labor including shoveling, brooming and raking General labor duties associated with asphalt paving and patching Required ability to rake asphalt to establish smooth seems, around utilities, and drainage in asphalt surfaces Equipment and job cleanup as necessary Ability to operate small power tools Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of traffic control devices Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements
