About The Position

Responsible for greeting and seating members and guests, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills will be essential in this role. The position is seasonal, with an hourly rate of $12.00 plus gratuities.

Responsibilities

Welcomes members and guests upon being seated
Ensures that all tables are set correctly in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP)
Responsible for the service of all members and guests in his/her station but also assisting teammates
Takes food and beverage orders from members and guests
Records orders properly and places food orders correctly into the point- of- sale (POS) system
Responsible for obtaining the members’ signatures on the check, ensuring all checks are correct
Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur
Responsible for all assigned side work and cleaning duties before, during and after shift
Maintains complete knowledge of the food and beverage products and stays up to date with any changes therein
Manages special seating request of members consistent with table availability
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience
Turns in daily gratuity report along with the server’s checks
Performs any and all other duties assigned by supervisor
