About The Position
Kept Companies is seeking a Pavement Marking Technician to join our team in Spokane, WA. As the largest self-performing commercial cleaning and maintenance company in the nation, we pride ourselves on our extensive service offerings, which include commercial fleet washing, retail equipment refurbishing, and parking lot services. This position is crucial for maintaining the quality and safety of roadways through effective pavement marking and removal operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in this field, although we are open to training motivated individuals who are eager to learn. This is a field position that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, and the technician will be responsible for operating specialized equipment and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. The Pavement Marking Technician will assist with layout and pavement marking operations, which includes reading plans, measuring areas for striping, and lifting and transporting materials. The role involves operating thermoplastic striping equipment and a Striper Truck, as well as setting up and removing construction signs and traffic control items at job sites. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing mechanical repairs, and keeping accurate daily records of work performed and materials used. This position requires flexibility in working hours, as the technician may need to work days, evenings, and nights as needed, and may also require travel to out-of-state work sites for short periods.
