About The Position

EverLine Coatings and Services, a rapidly scaling commercial service brand is looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive Crew Lead to lead our Seattle Location. Our small but rapidly growing team is in need of a critical field training and support function leader to successfully launch and support our growing network. We are looking for a Pavement Maintenance Technician - Crew Lead to oversee all staff, maintenance items, and operations of the local business unit. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive. EverLine Coatings and Services is a premier line painting and maintenance company. We provide high quality line painting and pavement maintenance services for parking lots, roadways, parkades and warehouses. In addition to painting services, we offer asphalt and concrete repair, sealcoating, crackfiling, epoxy flooring and more. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Crew Lead or similar role from a skilled trade
  • Follows through on commitments and leads by example
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Experienced with using hand and power tools
  • Skilled enough to use the proper tools to troubleshoot broken equipment on jobsites, make repairs, and perform scheduled maintenance on equipment
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Great leadership skills and management of people
  • Bias to action and isn't afraid to try new things
  • Is thoughtful of others and can help build/execute a training program for Pavement Maintenance Technicians

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Help design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Set policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively, arrive to work on time, and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for ownership
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement with trying new processes and methods
  • Shop maintenance items and inventory replenishment
