Fogg Filler is looking for a talented and driven Pattern Department Manager to lead employees who manufacture Fogg Filler machines, including change parts and manufactured parts made for FOGG equipment, maintaining quality and efficiency in the pattern department. Below are the job responsibilities of the Pattern Department Manager. Promote a positive attitude, understand and promote company mission and values. Must have excellent, effective verbal and written communication skills, share information with others prior to decisions and after decisions in a timely manner. Listen effectively and accept constructive criticism. Ability to take independent action solving problems, seek out new responsibilities, act on opportunities, generate new ideas and manage risk of new ideas, work to promote self-development. Must have a common sense/practical approach, ability to make thoughtful and timely decisions, get clarity of issue or objective by getting input in the decision-making process and show consideration for the impact of the decisions. Show openness to new ideas, ability to adapt to change and assume new responsibilities. Must be able to handle pressure and uncertainty, adjust work plans to meet changing company and customer needs. Meets with Plant Manager weekly to review schedules and discuss any changes, tooling and/or parts requirements. Reviews on a daily basis the production schedule and work responsibilities with each employee to ensure seamless manufacturing of FOGG machines and/or equipment. Organizes and schedule jobs on a priority basis. This includes capitol, aftermarket and warranty work. Monitors workflow ensuring daily production schedules are being met. Conduct design reviews on each order / project before it is released for production. Ensures that change part Information is filled out correctly and routed to the Machine File for correct documentation in the change part file. Provides verbal/written feedback to appropriate member regarding engineering, manufacturing and/or routing problems with parts and/or equipment. Manage, review, and approve engineering changes in Fogg's ERP system. Ensures and maintains safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties daily. Works directly with aftermarket parts team / LCM to answer questions regarding a customer's requests or needs as well as supporting the service team when they are installing change parts in the field. (May occasionally require travel) Keeps track of material stock as well as hardware for assembling change parts. Internal Contacts - Work with other members of your department, and all other Fogg members to solve work related problems. External Contacts - Periodically with customers of Fogg Filler Company touring the facilities as well as interactions with customers out in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent, preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• 3+ engineering experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• On the job training provided.
• Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to communicate with coworkers.
• Computer proficient.
