As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with staff, visitors, and patients, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will operate a company or client vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents that may impact the location, following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
  • Remain alert to the unique needs and requirements of a healthcare environment while performing assigned duties.
