Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability. What You Will Do: Perform engineering activities in support of the Patriot program for the Tactical Command System (TCS), Battery Command Post (BCP), and Reconfigurable Tactical Command System (R-TCS). Software Requirements analysis. Designing and conducting software validation test. Training Soldiers on the Patriot System. Participate in the upgrade of the TCS and BCP Technical Data Packages. Participate in peer reviews, resolving identified problems, interfacing with, and providing support to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead, System Engineering lead, and other team members. Review ECP documentation and identify the changes and deletions for impacts. Travel to and from Patriot Sites in support of testing, upgrades and training.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with Patriot Product Line. (Example: Communication Link Architecture, Major End Items for Patriot (Tactical Command System (TCS), Battery Command Post (BCP, and/or Reconfigurable Tactical Command System (R-TCS)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reviewing and understanding Technical Data Packages including but not limited to general understanding of Product Data Management (PDM)
  • Method of Instruction (MOI) Certified to train Patriot Modifications and Upgrades to the tactical fleet
  • Microsoft Office products skills
  • Excellent communication, organization and investigative skills
  • Ability to work independently and to deliver accurate documentation under deadline pressures
  • Experience in Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems
