Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Supply Chain to lead the Aft Material Program Manager (MPM) team for the Patriot GEM-T Missile portfolio of programs. The Aft MPM Lead will be responsible for management of all strategic and tactical supply chain needs for the Aft portion of the GEM-T Missile. This MPM team directly supports a Product Line of 15+ active Patriot programs, requiring a leader who is collaborative, forward thinking, and able to execute in dynamic environments. This leader will have daily collaboration with the Patriot GEM-T Missile Integrated Product Line (IPT) team, OSC organization, Suppliers, and multiple Functions especially Engineering and Quality. In this role you will leverage Supply Chain, technical knowledge, communication skills, and process capability expertise to improve GEM-T Aft supplier performance and support. This MPM Lead will manage complex subassemblies from multiple high visibility suppliers and All Up Round (AUR) execution at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD). The Aft scope includes International development and production suppliers, requiring knowledge of Global Trade and International Procurement as well as logistics for material transportation. You will work cross-functionally to support Technology Refresh new designs, production execution, capacity expansion, and customer needs including spares and field returns. Strong relationship development skills with suppliers and experience with people management are crucial to success in the role. You will be accountable to ensure the GEM-T Aft suppliers are supporting Program and IPT needs, risks are mitigated, and efficiencies identified. You will be financially responsible for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments, Sales, and Estimate at Completions (EACs).

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in relevant field of study such as Supply Chain, Management, Business, Finance, or Engineering
  • Major subcontractor management experience during production and/or development phases
  • Experience with international suppliers and Global Trade requirements
  • Strong leadership experience with record of success in fast-paced, changing environment in a matrixed (multi-functional) organization.
  • Executive level presentations and communications skills
  • Experience with financial budgets to include AOP/LRE creation, material forecasting/sales realization, EVMS (budgeting and cost / schedule and performance management metrics)
  • Experience managing financial and operational Risks and Opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Senior leader managing 2 MPMs responsible for all supply chain scope specific to Aft including Major Subcontractors, International Suppliers & Licensing, All Up Round (AUR) Production, and DropShip Material Transportation
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional team members to proactively reduce material lead times, accelerate new PO placements, and resolve execution issues.
  • Strategically drive GEM-T Aft supplier new designs and capacity increases to align to Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Ensure predictable execution to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Global Patriot financial objectives including sales forecasting, margin expansion through R&O management, and support of cash milestones.
  • Establish credibility and trusted relationships with Suppliers, Raytheon, and Patriot Program and Product Line leadership teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required.
